Gender Discrimination in the Legal Field

Whether or not you're interested in a legal career, this is a must read article.

A top female litigator has taken a VERY big Toronto firm to court over gender discrimination. This is a Bay Street firm (the Canadian equivalent of Wall Street) so no doubt all the big firms are paying attention.

This article describes the situation this female litigator found herself in (repeatedly passed up for partnership despite promises to the contrary and lower ranking males be promoted ahead of her).

Some very telling descriptions of women in a competitive profession that will interest/and concern all, regardless of your field.
