This group blog is an experiment.
The vague intention behind it is to provide a virtual place for collecting and collating resources that could be useful to women who are interested in questions of gendered access to power.
I'm not sure what the most effective use of this space will be, but for the moment, let's play around with any format that seems useful. We can have blog posts on both specific themes and random thoughts -- the specific themes could include:
1. Ideas for a reading group discussion -- e.g. book titles, journal articles, newspaper articles, other blog posts
2. Internships that our peers might be interested in applying for
3. Conferences, calls for papers, symposia on relevant topics
4. Funding resources
5. Upcoming events -- local and global
