Contraceptive debate in the US
Whether you've been following the debate, or just hearing snippets of the controversy, these two articles make for interesting reading. This article explains a little more about the political side of the contraception debate, while this one is more partisan, pointing out the problems with the recent discussion in the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Great call to note this--the debate is absolutely raging in the US. ReplyDeleteso far as the latter question goes, I'd say it's a false dichotomy... which is part of the point made by Lepore's article.
