Petition to stop lap dancing at Thirst Lodge.
Thirst Lodge has been granted a lap dancing license from the City Council. Opposition to this was the subject of debate and a vote in 3rd week OUSU Council. OUSU, the University, and local community groups are opposing the granting of the license, on the grounds of it creating both a public nuisance and a demeaning environment for women. The appeal will be heard by a magistrate's court, and one of the factors they take into account is the strength of local opposition. As residents and students in this city, that means you. If you'd like to signify your opposition to lapdancing at Thirst Lodge, please sign the petitionhere: http://www.
