Two Interesting Articles

Two interesting articles caught my attention today:

1) On the gendered pay gap from the NYT year-long series The Female Factor:

2) On the gender politics of women's washrooms. In India, there is a campaign for more public washrooms for woman (and toilets in private homes) with the slogan 'No Toilet, No Bride'. That is one heck of a slogan....
